The Rockland Buffet and Hutch uses all of the textural elements of Plank Road and blends them together. The seeded glass on the buffet doors ties in well with the uneven planking on the top and ends of the solid wood cabinet. The hutch adds subtle lighting and tempered glass for open shelving display. Meanwhile, a nod toward modern style comes from design cues like the brushed gold tone hardware and textured fabric touches. Hadleigh combines the best features of new furniture technology with the authentic benefits of solid wood furniture in an heirloom-quality construction. Notable elements include the Kincaid Soft-Close drawer glide system. Kincaid also utilizes the best of the old-world construction techniques such as English dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.

The Mill House collection reaches back to our roots and highlights the old techniques utilized during the early days of American furniture making. During those times craftsman were limited to solid lumbers and the materials they had, and they used techniques that were functional and visible to construct the furniture they built.  The furniture itself was built with a form-follows-function perspective which resulted in pieces that were inherently well made. Due to the use of those varying resources and the purposes for each piece, this led to a sort of unintended eclectic style which, ironically, is popular today.
